Release Train Engineer

Right now, we are looking for a RTE (Release Train Engineer) in Telia IT Sweden. I am Maria Åhlin and Head of B2B Transformation within CPS and Telia IT Sweden. We are a great bunch of people, and together with our great B2B business colleagues in Telia Sweden, CSD, CPS Product Areas, NSD, Common IT-Domains, Channels and Analytics we are driving an exciting change journey in a Large Solution Train agile set-up. Your next opportunity?

As an RTE, you will be accountable for the continuous IT delivery of business value to the stakeholders and product owners. You will be part of our transformation journey where we go to a more servant leadership, facilitating the agile events in the Agile Release Train to assist the teams in delivering value.
• The way of working will be based on our Common Delivery Model (CDM), and you will be part of continuously develop and improve our way of working.

You will:

• You will lead an Agile Release Train (ART) and be part of, and have a close collaboration with other included ARTs and teams within the B2B Transformation Large Solution Train (LST).
• Facilitate the ART events and processes.
• Coach and train members of the train.
• Continuously deliver IT business value together with IT Delivery organization and Business organization.
• Coordinate delivery from multiple delivery teams to ensure a successful outcome of business value.
• Managing and forecast the capacity within the LST to secure that there are no bottlenecks to deliver the requested functionality.
• Plan, structure, follow up and improve the delivery output and way of working to be on top of progress, always having your Jira backlog up to date.
• Communicate with stakeholders.
• Help manage risk, escalate impediments, and drive relentless improvement.

Who are you?
You have a passion for customers, technology, and leadership. To fit the bill, you have worked as a RTE (Release Train Engineer) or similar role based on SAFe, with operational responsibility to continuously deliver results. You have a good understanding of Telecom area. You have an extensive experience from agile IT development and operation - from planning and design to development and deployment. Leading complex "IT development" is something that excites you and you excel in building strong stakeholder relationships.
