Agria Djurförsäkring is on an exciting journey towards the goal of becoming Europe's largest animal insurance company. With a growing Ecosystem of partners and vendors and with the new DORA regulation, we are strengthening our Development Department, with a Change and Release Management Coordinator.
About the job
We want to strengthen our team with a Change and Release Management Coordinator and driver of change and Quality, who has a broad overall perspective and experience with complex, business-critical system connections.
As a Change and Release Management Coordinator in the Development department at Agria, you will be responsible for effectively overseeing the planning, coordination, and deployment of Software releases and Changes in alignment with ITIL principles. You will play a key role in ensuring that the change and release processes are smooth and efficient, to minimize disruption, while adhering to ITIL best practices. Your main focus will be changes to, and releases of the insurance system within Agria. You will keep track of the Change Management checklist to ensure that environments are in place for releases, which means close collaboration with the Configuration Manager for IBMi and Windows, the OA-lead and Scrum Masters. Work closely with the RTE and feature teams for planning and coordination regarding changes and releases. We have currently a release process transforming to a more Continuous Pipelines thinking and DevSecOps. Work closely with the MSI (Multiple Supplier Integration) team within LFAB. You will be part of annual planning and creating Release and Change calendars for Agria. You will work together with the other team members of IT & QA team and drive general improvements within ITIL, QA etc
This role is expected to be the Manager on Duty during Releases and big changes, which means that part of the work will be performed outside of business hours.
Key Responsibilities
Be part of the Change and Release Management process and Quality Assurance
Change and Release Planning: Develop and maintain release schedules, and ensure alignment with ITIL best practices. Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and plan the release cycles, LCM changes, development changes and sync with LFAB and ART My Pets.
Change and Release coordination: Facilitate cross-functional coordination among development and operation teams . Ensure that all release activities are executed according to established processes . Strive for automation. This role is expected to be the Manager on Duty during Releases and big changes, which means that part of the work will be performed outside of business hours. Synchronization with LFAB and ART My Pets
Change management: Apply ITIL Change Management practices to assess the impact of proposed changes and ensure compliance with established procedures. Review and approve change requests. Help the System team with the guidelines for change within DevSecOps and secure SoD (Segragation of Duties). Change Management is the process of controlling and and setting guidelines for changing HW, SW, NW, processes and ITIL documentation within Agria. In the Insurance industry where data security and compliance are critical, Change Management ensures that any modification to systems or services are controlled and well documented. This is essential for maintaining the stability and security of insurance related IT systems while ensuring DORA compliance.
Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee quality assurance measures to ensure reliability and stability of changes and releases. Work closely with the System team(s) to ensure automation and quality checks within DevSecOps. Conduct pre-Release and post-release testing and validation. QA coordination, work for quality in delivery in all changes - "Shift left".
Release Deployment: Oversee the deployment of software releases while minimizing downtime and service disruption. Manage the rollback process in case of unforeseen issues. Manage the change windows in close collaboration with the Incident and Problem Management Coordinator manager if extra changes are needed to resolve incidents and/or problems.
Continuous Improvements: Identify opportunities to enhance the Release and Change management, and Quality assurance processes and minimize risks. Develop and implement best practices for ongoing service improvements, Definition of ready and Definition of Done for deployment to the production environments. Strive for Release on demand, identify opportunities, and help to drive improvement work together with the MSI team in LFAB and the QA lead in ART My Pets. Create guidelines and principles for CI/CD pipelines to improve our DevSecOps ways of working together with the ART My Pets.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive Release and Change documentation, including version control and release notes in our ITSM tools. Generate release reports for performance analysis and decision making. Automate audits and ensure reliable audit trails in our DevSecOps processes and tools, by having control over the Change Management process, e.g., CAB, test reports, lift plans, etc.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate release plans, progress, and status to all relevant stakeholders. Respond to inquiries and issues related to release in a timely and effective manner together with the Incident and Problem Management Coordinator. Establish an internal CAB (Change Advisory Board) to ensure stability in production.
ITIL Adherence: Promote and enforce the use of ITIL best practices within the Release and Change Management processes together with the LFAB Change management team and the operation teams. Forster a culture of continuous improvements and adherence to service management principles, e.g. Segregation of Duties, Change control, version handling, etc.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Proven experience in Release management within the IT Insurance industry or a similar domain
  • Strong knowledge of IT Insurance systems and technologies
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of ITIL framework and best practices - certification in ITIL4 and ITIL DevOps is a plus
  • Excellent Communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Experience of RM role with in an Agile DevSecOps environment is a plus
  • Experience working with SAFe framework is a plus
  • Proficient in the Swedish and English language
