To be successful in this position, we believe you have the following:
• University degree in Engineering, Business Administration or corresponding.
• Good analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills
• Strong ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience from an international organisation, preferably within IT hardware/software
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal

Your responsibilities
As our Purchaser, you will drive negotiations of large-scale complex agreements, where you, together with the IKEA team, will secure the best buy for IKEA. Moreover, you will be the primary commercial interface towards global suppliers and execute category strategies and segment plans to support the Ingka Group on a global level.
More specifically, you will be responsible to:
• Drive supplier selections, build supplier relations and secure, develop and negotiate relevant terms and conditions.
• Build trustful relations with internal business partners with whom you will develop the business.
• Drive the implementation of strategies and secure governance of strategic supplier relationships within Digital & Tech category area Hardware & Platforms.

Our team within Category Hardware and Platforms consists of trustworthy and innovative co-workers encouraged to give and take responsibility. We are a team of sourcing managers, category leaders and purchasers working together toward same goals.
You will experience strong leadership and be part of a competence development program focusing on the future.
This position is permanent, based in Malmö, Sweden and you will report to Jens Antonsson, Sourcing Manager Category Hardware and Platforms.
