About the job
"Project Office" is a part of "Operations Development", with a focus on footprint and transformation projects connected to Operations of Alfa Laval.
Footprint projects are the major change projects that are gradually adapting the factory footprint to make Alfa Laval more competitive and sustainable. A footprint project can typically cover CAPEX activities related to moving or setting up a new production line or to expand a factory. The scope are our Supply Chains globally within our three key technologies: heat transfer, separation and fluid handling.
Right now, there are many plans on how to make Alfa Laval more sustainable and competitive for the future and to support this journey we will extend our project office with a Project Manager.
As Project Manager, you will lead challenging projects with high impact on people and business. Right now, we are looking for a Project manager that can set-up a connected Supply Chain planning for a new factory footprint with an ambition to grow rapidly.
Your projects will implement or drive change in the field of Supply Chain planning, both on a tactical and operational level. The set-up of Product structures and the link to the production set-up will be part of the scope to work with.
As a part of the project office, you will also have the possibility to improve the process and governance of transformation projects in Alfa Laval.
You will act in an international environment with a wide network of people on different levels in the company. The position will give you good insights in Alfa Laval and open up for a possible future role as line manager within our factory and operations organization.
What you know
- You have several years of experience from working with projects in a global organization of which, at least 3-5 years in direct project management.
- Preferably you have a record of working with footprint or Supply Chain Planning projects.
- We believe that you have experience from working in Sales & Operations planning or other tactical or operational Supply Chain functions. Experience from line manager roles in Operations is a plus.
- You may also have a background in driving projects developing and implementing new Production processes, Warehouse processes or ERP systems.
- We assume that you have a relevant university education or equivalent and that you have attended some formal project management trainings.
- Fluent in written and spoken English is mandatory.
