About the position
In your role as Project Coordinator for International Projects, you have the opportunity to guide our projects in Africa and Asia from the initial idea stage until the conclusion stage. You'll take the lead in launching new projects by evaluating project proposals and ideas in consultation with the board as well as the national group. Your role places you at the heart of the project, requiring regular reports to the national coordination group for International Projects.
Regarding the International Projects your task is to accompany, support and report on the progress of the projects and facilitate communication between the board and the project manager. You are part of the work to developing the project process and expected to help the project groups achieve their goals.
You are a part of the board at EWB Chalmers, this means that you are expected to assist Engineers Without Borders at Chalmers with other events where the organization is represented, like for example participation in market fairs or workshops.

Note that all work is very flexible and completely non-profit!
Requirements
We're on the lookout for a self-driven individual with excellent collaboration and communication skills, someone who can steer projects to success. Furthermore, we would like you to have a strong interest in international solidarity and leadership. Previous engagement with Engineers Without Borders Sweden or other organizations active in international solidarity is very meritorious but no requirement.
Start: mainly from academic year 2024-2025. However, there is a possibility to roll in right now.
Period: preferably until the end of academic year 2024-2025 or longer
Location: remotely based; activities in Gothenburg are not mandatory but recommended, and worth it
Time commitment: at least 2-4h/week
Terms: volunteer position
