Job Description
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled QA/QC Engineer with a focus on industrial construction to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and quality control processes within the construction industry, particularly in industrial settings. The QA/QC Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control plans for industrial construction projects.
- Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and regulations.
- Perform quality checks on materials, equipment, and workmanship at various stages of construction.
- Identify and resolve quality issues in a timely manner, working closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with third-party inspectors and regulatory agencies as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of quality control activities and findings.
- Provide training and guidance to project teams on quality standards and best practices.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate quality performance metrics to drive improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Relevant experience in QA engineering related to production in the industry sector.
- In-depth knowledge of construction codes, standards, and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., CQE, CQM) is a plus.
- Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and construction software tools preferred.
