• Ensure all raised escalations are tracked to control production efficiency, quality, and safety.
Key responsibilities
Overall areas of responsibility and activities.
• Production Oversight:
Collaborate with the Manufacturing Site Manager to plan and coordinate daily manufacturing activities to meet production targets and quality standards.
Assist in optimizing manufacturing processes and workflow efficiency. Responsible for maintaining and developing the Hotline Process and to ensure the right manning accordingly.
• Team Leadership:
Support and assist in leading manufacturing teams, providing guidance, training, and support.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to enhance team productivity.
• Quality Assurance:
Assist in enforcing quality control measures to ensure products meet established specifications. Collaborate with quality control teams to address and resolve any issues affecting product quality.
• Safety Compliance:
Support the Manufacturing Site Manager in upholding and enforcing safety protocols and regulations. Contribute to the organization and conduct of safety meetings and training sessions.
• Equipment and Facility Management:
Assist in overseeing the maintenance and operation of manufacturing equipment and facilities.
Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure timely repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Inventory Control:
Support efforts to monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock for production needs.
• Communication:
Act as a liaison between production teams, management, and other stakeholders.
Provide regular updates on production goals, challenges, and achievements.
Requirements
Educational background and previous experience required for the role.
Qualifications and experience
• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, industrial engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong organizational abilities to prioritize.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and quality control measures.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Specific skills
• Excellent English written and oral skills, Swedish is a plus.
