About the job
Alfa Laval is gearing up for an ambitious transformation of our website landscape. We are seeking a dynamic Product Owner with expertise in CMS to lead and infuse new vitality into a cross-functional IT team comprising Developers, Architects, and Front-end/Back-end specialists. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical and business realms, coordinating closely with a Product Manager to align IT and business objectives for our new website landscape.
You will report into Head of Value Stream Digital HR & Communications and be a part of an international and dynamic team, while working closely together with our growing cross-organizational team, responsible for managing Alfa Laval's web operations, to improve our online presence and deliver exceptional user experience.
You will drive the development and optimization of our Content Management echo system, ensuring it aligns with both technical standards and business goals, while effectively leading and collaborating with a diverse team of IT professionals and business stakeholders
What you know:
- Leadership: Actively guide and develop the CMS development team and set them on a new course, setting clear goals and managing contribution to Product Increments (PI).
- Business Liaison: Actively interact with the business side, represented by a Product Manager, to understand and integrate business needs into CMS development.
- Product Development: Manage and maintain a robust product backlog, aligning with both IT and business strategies.
- Stakeholder Management: In close collaboration with the PM, ensure that Epics, Features and Stories have a clearly articulated problem and value statement, outcome hypothesis, acceptance criteria and lead indicators at the outset of all development.
- Performance Metrics: Monitor and report on the performance of the CMS, focusing on both technical efficacy and business impact.
- Market Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends and competitor strategies to ensure the CMS remains cutting-edge.
- Agile Methodology Implementation: Apply and tailor Agile practices to meet the dynamic needs of the project and team.
Who you are:
- 5+ years proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in IT, particularly in CMS development.
- Strong technical background, with an understanding of Agile development and web technologies.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills. Full English proficiency a must!
- Experience in stakeholder management and cross-departmental collaboration.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, IT, Business, or related field.
- Leadership skills.
