About the role
Asour Process Technologist Lecithin, you will implement and improve the efficientproduction of lecithin for AAK. As expert in this field, you will develop andprovide processing knowledge to internal and external AAK stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Support lecithin producing AAK plants to optimise performance, capacity, yields and operating cost.
- Responsible for process and production development of lecithin.
- Implementation of new processing lines, or modification to existing processes. Including process design, equipment specifications and 3rd party management.
- Act as a project manager to develop plans and specifications for new equipment on existing sites or on "greenfield projects". Evaluate supplier quotations and support sites during project execution.
- Develop standards for best practice installation and operation of Lecithin processing plants.
- Contribute to the AAK products quality standards.
- Develop a range of processing capabilities in line with evolving market needs.
- Bring new innovations and technologist on Lecithin into AAK.
About you
- Master degree in Food Process Engineering, or chemical engineer within food industry.
- Experience in process engineering for lecithin or vegetable oil and emulsifiers.
- Knowledge of Lecithin or vegetable fats and oils.
- Strong skills in project management.
- Experience in setting up pilot plant trails.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
- Comfortable working in a global business environment is a must including potential frequent travel up to 30%.
