Job Summary
Package development is a key area within Tetra Pak. At Package Solutions in Tetra Pak's Development & Technology organisation we develop new packages, materials, openings and closures for our customers' current and future needs. We cover all development steps from identification of needs, creation of new technical ideas to validating the end product.

The position will be located in Lund, Sweden. Some travelling is required.
What you will do
Your main task will be to contribute to development of new package solutions. This means working with new concepts, new sustainable materials, new shapes, sizes and functionalities always with a focus on quality.
As our new colleague, you will:
• Support projects with design expertise in aesthetics, usability, functionality
• Drive development of materials and package solutions in both early phase studies and close to market projects
• Support in requirement setting and risk assessment in product development
• Drive test execution and analysis for package tests
• Collaborate in cross-functional teams to build knowledge, solve problems, and verify new solutions
To be successful in this role we believe you have
Educational background with a Master of Science within Design engineering or similar
A genuine interest in package and product development
Very good command of English, both written and verbal is a must
Some years of working experience, preferably within product development
Experience from working with 3D CAD programs, preferably Creo
Mechanical design and manufacturing knowledge of plastic parts is considered a plus.

You drive for results and have the ability to deliver on time and under pressure. We believe that you are a clear communicator and good at building effective relationships with others.
Furthermore, you can adjust to the situation and comfortably handle risk and uncertainty. In addition, you have the interest and ability to handle the big picture in deliverables at the same time as being interested in technical details.
