We are now looking to strengthen our team with an Oracle DBA!
In this role you will:
• Install, configure, upgrade and patch Oracle database software and related products
• Design and implement database solutions to meet business requirements
• Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring high availability and scalability
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, including performance bottlenecks, database errors, and connectivity problems
• Perform database backup and recovery operations, including disaster recovery planning and testing
• Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive data
• Develop and maintain documentation
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize SQL queries and database performance
Primary Skills:
• Experience with hands-on daily routine DBA operations
• Should have good understanding in Oracle RDBMS multitenant architecture
• Good knowledge of Space Management, Undo Management, User Management
• Good Knowledge in RMAN Backup and Restore, and Logical backup and recovery using data pump export/import
• Setup Listener TNS configuration
• Alert Log monitoring for issues, Data Guard maintenance and monitoring for making sure standby is in sync
• Troubleshooting and performance tuning skills in production DBs.
• Supporting large-scale, mission-critical 24/7 solutions
• Experience with Oracle Scheduler
• Experience with Oracle Resource Manager
• Database Performance/diagnostic skills using GUI and CLI
• Excellent knowledge working on Linux, Solaris, UNIX environments.
• Sound knowledge of basic UNIX OS commands for troubleshooting database issues
• Good at Shell, Cron, and PERL scripting
• Full working proficiency in Swedish and English
Secondary Skills
• Oracle RAC installations/upgrades
• Data Guard installations/monitoring
• Scheduling verification co-ordinate with Oracle Support for issues
• Experience in Telecom OSS/BSS domain is a plus
• Experience in IaaS/Cloud environments is a plus
• Experience in Oracle WebLogic is a plus
