As Operating Model Lead in Volvo Group Connected Solutions, you will be a part of a global organization that is leading the development of the Volvo Group's connected services and solutions. As Operating Model Lead, you are responsible of Volvo Group Connected SolutionsOperating model, way of working and related change management. Responsibility includes capture, drive and document VGCS Operating model and way of working cross VGCS.
The role requires close collaboration across Volvo Group Connected Solutions as well as with other Volvo Group stakeholders.
The position reports to the Vice President of Strategy & Business Orchestration
Key Responsibilities
As Operating Model Lead, your key responsibilities are to:
* Own and orchestrate Volvo Group Connected Solutions (VGCS) Operating model and related way of working
* Capture, concretize and drive initiatives related to VGCS Operating model
* Lead transformation and change management related to VGCS Operating model
* Document VGCS Operating model
* Own VGCS process chart (aka subway map)
* Actively participate in Strategy & Business Orchestration Management team
Competence Profile & Qualifications
To qualify for this role, you should have:
* Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking

* Excellent collaboration skills
* Interest in and understanding of our industry and Volvo Group internal eco system
* Experience from working in larger global group corporations

You are a social person with strong relationship capabilities and enjoy working with others. You have a passion for business, technology and people.
You have a masters degree or equivalent and are fluent in English, international business experience is a merit. The successful candidate will have shown a winning attitude and great persona in combination with a strong track record and references.
Operating model
An Operating model is both an abstract and visual representation (model) of how an organization delivers value. A tool to get alignment between different functions about how they are going to work together for the benefit of the whole.
It uses elements such as charts, graphics, tables and maps to show how the organization operates and the value it brings to stakeholders as well as how an organization actually runs itself. The Operating model of an organization covers those parts of the value delivery chain that the organization engages in as well as how the organization interacts with the other participants.
* Organization model: how the activities in the value chain and the support functions link together into an organisation structure.
* Cross-structure governance: how processes and activities that cut across the structure of the organization are managed and governed (particularly information links)
* Decision rights: how the most important decisions in the organization are taken
An Operating model converts all these topics into models, maps and charts that help communicate how the organisation works:
* a map of the value delivery chains, showing the organization's involvement in each step - most organizations have more than one value delivery chain
* an organization chart in the form of an organization model
* a table laying out the type of people, incentives, accountabilities and culture
* a table showing the cut-across processes and information needs and who "owns" these processes
* a grid of the major decisions and the role of each senior manager in the structure with regard to each decision
