About the job
You perform functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in
set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production
of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. You will use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment.
You determine and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the
manufacturing process. Works with engineers in conducting experiments.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Initiate and/or take decisions relevant and or connected to the process to ensure customer
grade quality material. - Initiate and/or take decisions regarding changes to specs and/or parameters that can impact
product quality. - Monitor equipment and adjust as needed.
- Control the machines and materials used in production.
- Coordinate improvements within the team connected to the process.
- Participate in cross-functional continuous improvements.
- Ability to operate all machines without supervision and perform basic troubleshooting.
- Write and continuously update relevant SOPs/WIs for the equipment and/or method.
- Validate the training for new operators regarding critical tasks that have the potential to
impact product quality. - Train and mentor new manufacturing associates on standard operating procedures and safety
protocols. - Assist the senior manufacturing personnel with advanced troubleshooting and validating
equipment and manufacturing processes, identifying and implementing process/product
improvement alternative

We believe that you have:
- A relevant education (e.g. industrial program at gymnasium level, automation)
- Previous training experience as Manufacturing Associate at Northvolt and/or previous
experience from working in Process Industry including safety procedures. - Experience from working with some of the following: permit procedures, Lock Out Tag Out,
near miss reporting, safety audits, maintenance audits, process control systems, and daily
following up on safety actions is an advantage. - Excellent English written and oral skills
- Accuracy, good at following instructions, high work ethic, critical thinking, and strong problem-solving skill.

- Good understanding of machines and equipment such as pipes, pumps, and valves.
