The Manager QA Operations for HemoCue is overall responsible for the quality assurance related activities and support to the Supply Chain as well as to Supplier Management.
This position is part of the Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance (RAQA) department. The position is located at the headquarter in Ängelholm, Sweden and can be held on-site or in a hybrid setup. At HemoCue, our vision is to do things easier, to do things better, and to do them right.
You will be a part of the leadership team of the RAQA department and report to the Senior Director RAQA responsible for establishing, implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System in accordance with applicable regulations and standards. RAQA is responsible for quality assurance of the Supply Chain and Regulatory and Design Quality meaning assurance of the product quality during design and development, internal as well as external audits, Corrective and Preventive Actions, product registrations, data privacy, complaints and vigilance reporting. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Lead, mentor and rigorously develop talent within the QA Operations team
- Continuous improve quality management system processes
- Being responsible for supplier audit program and support organization in supplier qualifications
- Support Supply Chain organization in the daily operations with e.g general improvements, nonconformance handling and process validations.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- University degree in Science or Technology
- Knowledge of applicable standards and regulations including but not limited to IVDR/IVDD, ISO 13485, US Quality System Regulations for Medical Devices, and risk management for medical devices (ISO 14971)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Quality and Regulatory role within the industry field
- Minimum 3 years of management experience or other leadership roles
- Business level English communication skills
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Being lead internal and/or supplier auditor
