About the job
The IT On-site Support Specialist will act as the hands-on/on-site IT Support Specialist for Lund site. You will also help out on our site in Staffanstorp when needed. You will help and support users on local site, and act as the local extension to our central IT organization.
Key tasks include:
  • Provide on-site support on a variety of devices, systems and technologies.
  • Troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues.
  • Installation and configuration of PC/Client hardware and software.
  • Manage hardware deliveries and hardware recycling according to Alfa Laval processes and policies.
  • Cooperate on ticket and issue resolution with the global Service Desk and other teams from central IT.
  • Create and maintain high-quality knowledge articles and other related documentation.
  • Adhere to Alfa Laval IT support processes and policies.
  • Ensure that switches, patch panels and cabinets are handled according to central policies.
  • Assisting in setting up virtual conferences and helping with digital tools and equipment related to meeting rooms at the site.
  • Participate in small local projects.
  • Ad hoc assignments.

This role reports to the site IT On-site support manager in Alfa Laval Technologies AB (site Lund).
Who you are:
We believe that you are a curious person who likes end-user contact. You are service-minded and take responsibility. You handle and finish your tasks in a timely manner.
You have a minimum 2 years of previous IT related support, and you are fluent in both Swedish and English.
Meritorious knowledge:
Experience in Exchange Admin Center
Experience regarding Microsoft Teams Rooms.
