Welcome to Markets & Treasury Financial Control in Group Finance, where we combine the skills and capabilities required to control and report on Nordea's Trading Book and Group Treasury's risk management and investment operations. We have a unique blend of competencies covering valuation of financial instruments, product control, financial reporting, market and counterparty credit risk, capital, and collateral.
What you'll do?
You will lead a first line of defence risk unit, ensuring that the risk capture and reporting to the trading desks is complete and accurate, and that the control framework is robust. The risk scope includes market risk in trading book, interest rate risk and FX risk in the banking book, and counterparty credit risk. The unit operates the related risk limit framework, and is responsible for trading book collateral control. Finally, the unit provides analytical tooling and analysis to enable decision making on risk and profitability of the business.
You are a member of relevant committees, and provide reporting and insights into the agenda. You drive forward the analytical capability and tooling to continuously enhance the support for decision making on risk, capital consumption, and profitability.
Risk Control consists of four teams and approximately 50 professionals located in four countries. You will focus on the continuous development of the employees and leaders in your team. You'll work in close collaboration with leaders in Trading, Group Treasury, and in 2nd line risk functions.
You will report to Head of Markets & Treasury Financial Control, and be a member of MTFC's leadership team. The leadership team is jointly responsible for our common success, so you will be expected to contribute to leading the whole.
The role is based either in Copenhagen, Helsinki, Stockholm, or Warsaw.

- Have significant professional experience in risk, valuation, capital and/or ALM from a financial institution
- Have strong quantitative skills

- Are able to communicate and collaborate effectively with employees and stakeholders of all levels of seniority
