I am Kristofer Ågren and I am leading the Product unit of Division X in Telia. We are responsible for the product strategy, technical and commercial product management, product engineering and customized deliveries of the emerging business B2B portfolio involving IoT and Data Insights in Telia Company for all of the Telia markets in the Nordics and Baltics. We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to join us as the Head of Product Architecture.
You are a senior leader with a track record of driving innovation by combining deep technical and commercial knowledge in the areas of IoT and/or Analytics. At your core, you are a collaborator, adept at creating and maintaining strong connections across various teams, including agile engineering, architecture and product management. Your leadership style is marked by a blend of vision, strategy, and the ability to work seamlessly across different functions, embodying the spirit of unity and progress.
The role includes, but is not limited to:
- Lead and inspire a team of domain architects and specialists focused on connectivity, data, software, telecom / IT Infrastructure and IoT devices.
- Champion efficient cross-functional collaboration within Division X to realize our target architecture and strategic goals that fulfills our Portfolio strategies, and our ambition to harmonize and simplify our overall product tech/data stack.
- Create a feedback loop between portfolio / product strategy and Target Architecture, so they complement each other.
- Be a proactive member of the Division X Product leadership team, contributing to both strategic and operational decisions.
- Leadership, definition, and evangelism of the opportunity of 5G technology for IoT and Data Insights.
- Take ownership of the target architecture across all product domains, including data, solutions, connectivity, infrastructure and SIM.

Your Experience:
- IoT and/or Data Analytics Technical Leadership: Minimum 2 years required, 5+ years preferred. Your experience should demonstrate your ability to lead in these cutting-edge fields, showcasing a blend of technical proficiency and visionary leadership.
- Line Management: At least 1 years of experience in managing teams is essential, with a preference for candidates who have 3 or more years. This experience is crucial as it indicates your ability to lead, mentor, and develop teams effectively.
- Educational Background: A university degree in a relevant field such as telecommunications, computer science, electrical engineering, or a similar discipline is expected.
- Solution Architecture: Experience in actual solution architecture work is an added advantage, though not a requirement. This skill set would be beneficial in understanding and shaping the architectural aspects of our products and solutions.
- Commercial understanding of Business Cases: Experience in building up business cases with Commercial Product Management teams to identify margins, costs, CAPEX / OPEX / COGS. This skill set would be beneficial in understanding efficiency of technology and how it scales up with evolving and emerging product needs.
