The Global Product Manager for Cytiva is responsible for driving success of Biacore products through innovation and life cycle management.
This position is part of the Biacore Product Management located in Uppsala and will be a hybrid role. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Take responsibility for the life-cycle management of Biacore surface plasmon resonance (SPR) instruments and software
- Be accountable for the designated range of products and ensure that they meet customer expectations on functionality, quality, and supply
- Collect voice of customer inputs, competitor’s intelligence, and market trends to contribute to the business roadmap and product development
- Build business cases, financial models and work closely with R&D in exploring product ideas, defining product concepts, and launch competitive products that solve unmet customer needs
- Define and bring to market new products in line with the overall business strategy
- Ensure product success by defining and executing successful launch and post-launch activities including the delivery of launch and training material
- Represent Cytiva, Biacore, and your products in customer labs, conferences, and marketing events worldwide
- Establish and manage internal and external collaborations
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences/Biotechnology or related life sciences field
- Proven experience in field of protein research and/or drug discovery
- Self-motivated and results oriented collaborator, comfortable with managing uncertainty
- Proven ability to work effectively in a matrix organization including good interpersonal and communication skills (in English)
- Valid Swedish working permit
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Technical expertise in surface plasmon resonance (SPR) or related biophysical methods
- Experience in product development of lab instrumentation or software
- Business expertise in driving commercial success of B2B products
