We are looking for a driven General Services Specialist to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our excellent Cathode Active Material team based in Skellefteå, Sweden. By joining us, you will be a key player in ramping up our CAM department and contribute to building one of the first large scale European battery factories.
About the job:
The General Services Coordinator manages temporary facilities in the construction site including scaffolding, rental equipment, conventional and specific PPE. They will also coordinate and carry out the activities aimed at meeting site requirements for General Services.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Liaising with management (Construction, Commissioning, Production, Facilities) and
    implement changes/additions to temporary facilities and temporary installations from inputs received in an organized way, coordinating with the necessary stakeholders.
  • Manage the allocation of change room lockers to different companies (up to 15-20 different stakeholders) in a systematic way and present it upon request.
  • Managing the needed consumables, ensuring local purchases for maintenance and the
    replenishment of consumables.
  • Managing the cleaning and upkeep of the temporary facilities by liaising with cleaning
    company, end users, and suppliers.
  • Managing the fleet of rented equipment and tools.
  • Manage the procured assets, their upkeep and maintenance.
  • Ensuring the application of HSE requirements specified for the activities, equipment and
    personnel under area of responsibility.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • University degree preferable but not mandatory
  • 8 years of experience in industrial construction projects
  • Brownfield & Greenfield project experience
  • Good communication skills, verbal and written
  • Experience in warehousing and inventory management

Specific Skills:
  • Language: English: written and verbal proficiency mandatory
  • Other: multiple language skills highly valued (Swedish, Polish, Finnish, etc.)
  • Computer Literacy: MS Office programs
  • Lock-out Tag-out (LOTO) good practice

Certifications:
  • Driver's License class B valid in Sweden/EU
  • Heta Arbeten Permit Issuer (Hot Works loss prevention) course highly valued
  • Work at height, MEWP, safe lifting, and Scaffold
