About this opportunity

 

Welcome to the QA Enablers Environment team. We add value by planning, developing and consulting around all topics related to Test Environments. As a member of this team, you'll play a valuable role in lifting up the quality and speed of software and system testing in Nordea.


You will be working as part of a focused team to map the IT system and interfaces for the current Nordea banking ecosystem, the application landscape and the technical components and channels. These IT systems form the backbone of the integrated Test Environments in the Nordea banking ecosystem. As such it is essential that these are able to operate with high availability, security and reliability.


You will have sufficient knowledge of one or more of the following architecture domains: Business, Information, System or Technical Architecture. And you will establish and maintain a high level overview of applications, functional flows across multiple domains and platforms to ensure the creation and maintenance of production-like Test Environments.


You work with IT and business stakeholders across the bank to ensure the implementation of Nordea's Test Environment Strategy, so that IT initiatives across Nordea establish and operate their own Test Environments in accordance with Group guidelines. Another responsibility is to support creating and maintaining environment-related information in Nordea's Test Environment Inventory. 


Of course, you will keep track of the latest developments and best practices within own area of expertise constantly ensuring professional development, and to be able to coach and develop analysts and teams in best practices and key knowledge areas. Also, you identify possibilities to evolve the architecture of non-production systems and integrations to deliver reduced complexity, cost efficiencies, improved agility, reduced risk or improved business capabilities.


You'll join a passionate and diverse team working effectively across all Nordic countries. The role is based in Helsinki; Gdańsk; Gdynia; Stockholm; Warszawa; Łódź.

You will likely have a master's degree or equivalent and we expect that you will have experience in driving IT development activities. Prior experience with the banking domain, with IT infrastructure and some enterprise architecture will be a great benefit.

 

Most of the teams you engage with are working in SAFe or Agile methodologies, which you will become very familiar with. You have excellent English language skills. Proficiency in one or more of the Nordic languages is preferred.

Your experience and background: 

  • Experience in banking or financial services
  • Experience in payments-domain is preferred
  • Analysis and design of flows and integrations
  • Basic understanding on network infrastructure

 

Knowledge and skills:

  • General understanding of cross-platform communication
  • Integration patterns knowledge (interactions between the systems)
  • Cross platforms architectural understanding
  • Holistic thinking combined with detailed analysis
  • Understanding of Quality Assurance processes and their relation to Test Environments
