About this opportunity
Warm welcome to the Derivatives, Equities and International unit’s analyst team. We add value by providing great people, primarily working as IT analysts to different execution structures focused on Banking and Institutional Technologhy (BIT) and in this case the Compliance area. As an senior IT analyst, you’ll play a valuable role in defining business and IT requirements (including infrastructure requirements, testing requirements) and alinging our IT solutions/domain to these requirements, applying Nordea standards and frameworks in a mindful way. At the same time we see that you will build your competence as an IT analyst in general.
What you’ll be doing:
- Collaborate with business owners and stakeholders at our compliance organisation to refine, define and analyse business and IT requirements related to Market Abuse Surveillance.
- Help define and create the foundation for our future strategic setup for our application landscape.
- Hands on tasks related to configuration, testing, documentation and requirements management related to the applications in the portfolio.
- Working closely together with subject matter experts from the involved vendors and business users in the Compliance area.
- Help define and implement our future operating model within the DevOps framework
- Collaborate and learn from our existing business and IT analysts working in the area.
- Work closely with developers and others to ensure the delivery of high quality IT solutions.
- Work hands on with other parts and capabilities in the area - like testing, operations, infrastructure and configuration.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:
- Are based in Stockholm or Gdansk/Gdynia.
- Are self driven and structured with good documentation skills.
- Have either a testing background, a infrastructure background or a developer background
- Have experience from a tech stack covering: Linux, Elasticsearch, YML, Kubernetes, MQ, SQL, Prometheus/Grafana, LogI, encryption technologies and AWS.
- Adaptive and innovative mindset with a keen interest in working on continuous improvements
- Have excellent communication and agile collaboration skills.
- Are creative, curious, proactive and solution-oriented.
- Ability to create strategic roadmaps and make them happen in reality.
Your experience and background:
- A relevant university degree (Economics, Engineering, data science, mathematics or similar)
- > 5 years experience working in or with IT development projects close to business stakeholders.
- Knowledge of architecture and IT solution design and Infrastructure.
- Great communication skills and experience working with diverse teams.
- Good knowledge of SQL(Databases) and coding experience.
- Experience with working in agile ways of working(Agile/SAFe)).
- Advantage with previous experience working with vendor software.
- Advantage with experience from the Markets business, compliance and/or IT domains.
