Group Credit Management is developing with high speed to meet demand for future credit decision automation and compliance. As a part of this journey the Information and Analytics Capability team is growing in number and to have enough leadership capacity to support and coach all employees, we have updated the Nordic organisation by splitting it in two units reflecting our stakeholders: Reporting and Analytics, and Credit Automation and Data management.
We are now looking for an experienced People Leader for the Reporting and Analytics team. This is a people focused role needing strong data skills and an opportunity for you to be part of one of the most exciting and challenging efforts on our journey to develop consistent and quality assured data for Reporting and Analytics, that can meet the demand from our external regulators as well as automate and simplify the credit processes.
About this opportunity
You will join the Information Capability and Analytics team where we set the scene for developing automated and compliant Credit risk reporting for the entire Nordea Group. To reach this goal we collaborate extensively with other units primarily Group Finance, GDMO and the other Capability units Retail, C&I, Collateral and High Risk.
As the Team Leader, you will play an important role in ensuring our teams are well equipped to support solutions and data for Reporting and automation of credit risk assessment, decision, and performance over the life cycle of a credit.
Your team is a sub-unit to Information and Analytics Capability within Credit Capability, a unit responsible for development and maintenance of all Credit owned applications and data. Your team analyses and build application and data for Credit risk reporting, analysis and automation in our agile release train.
Core capabilities within the team are requirements gathering, user acceptance testing, data mapping and analysing the data change impacts with knowledge of the Credit risk area. We have a diverse team with different backgrounds and levels of knowledge, where our focus is on continuously improving on both the individual and team level.
We are looking for a team leader that is ready to support our team members in their delivers as a servant leader, as well as someone who is full of ideas to create a great place to work and coordinate key activities to attract, lead, and retain talented minds and diverse personalities across Information Capability and Analytics.
What you'll be doing:
  • Support and mentor a team of experienced Product owners, Product managers and Data analysts.
  • Set direction via team and individual goals, empower team members within their responsibilities and follow up on deliveries.
  • Provide timely feedback, continuous coaching and evaluate and leverage performance.
  • Coordinate and manage performance and development activities across Information Capability and Analytics.

Your experience and background:
  • Team leader or management experience.
  • Change management experience for data activities, ideally using Agile methodologies.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in developing, analysing and managing data, knowing what good data quality looks like.
  • Good understanding of Regulative or Credit risk reporting.
  • Strong networking skills.
  • Coaching and mentoring experience.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
