About Engineering Unit HW
Engineering Unit HW drives the end-to-end research and development of Ericsson's radio and transport products and solutions. We are a global organization, within BNEW, of approximately 7,000 engineers collaborating across over 12 sites in Sweden, Canada, China, Finland, USA, Italy, Hungary, India and Croatia, to drive Ericsson's strategy of securing our ongoing technology and market leadership position.
The wanted position for EU HW towards 2028 is to be number one in industry leading Radio, Microwave and RAN Transport solutions powered by Ericsson Silicon, enabled by empowered engineers creating customer value through innovative and sustainable solutions.
About this opportunity
Engineering Environment and Experience (EEE) is a unit within Hardware Engineering Unit (EU HW) with the exciting scope to work with EU HW Engineering Environment and Experience. Our mission is to provide a world class Engineering Environment, including tools, for our designers. Within EEE we explore and find Engineering Environment synergies across EU HW units and have close collaboration with other units such as other EUs, SAN, EIT. We are looking for you that bring high energy, have excellent leadership skills and an ability to make things happen. You will work in a global organization which involves multiple interfaces where collaboration and communication is key.
About this role
This role leads strategic activities around utilization of EUHW test environment aiming to improve the productivity and efficiency of EUHW's test environment tools.
In this role you will engage and collaborate with team members from EUHW, other EUs and SAN. You will work together with the rest of the Engineering Environment team and play an integral role in designing and delivering world-class products in an efficient way.
You will report to the Head of Engineering Environment Infrastructure and the role will be based in Stockholm, Kista.
You will
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve Utilization
  • Lead utilization multi-functional projects and initiatives
  • Drive, coordinate and align project objectives
  • Monitor and analyze Utilization data
  • Identifying inefficiencies and capacity issues
  • Reporting and communicating Utilization insights
  • Work with internationally distributed teams, located in several countries around the globe
  • Collaborate crosses multiple organizations and sites
  • Propose, drive and deploy changes/improvements in Utilization area
You will bring
  • > 3 years of Engineering Environment Technical Leadership
  • Good understanding of Radio test flows and test environment
  • Genuine passion and curiosity about IT technology
  • Continuous exploration and ideation to further improve the test Engineering Environment
  • Engaging in a partnership culture, ways of working and environment where employees are engaged, demonstrating proactivity, strong performance, high professional ethics, and high energy
  • Good understanding of testing in complex RAN test environment setup's
