This role represents a great opportunity for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to secure their next permanent role. Our client is a well-established commercial construction company based in Dublin with this project being based in Sweden. They have enjoyed continued growth for many years. As a result, this company has an urgent requirement for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join their team on a full-time basis to work on a hyper-scale Data Centre project in Sweden.
Requirements:
• Liaise and co-ordinate site activities alongside other trades.
• Carry out weekly reports and issue to line manager.
• Carry out weekly toolbox talks.
• Prepare two weeks look ahead for upcoming works.
• Attending daily/weekly meetings.
• Manage Labour requirements are in line as per project program requirements.
• Maintain Quality of the works to a high level.
• Ensure Subcontractors are working as efficiently as possible.
• Notify line manager of all variations and delays.
• Ensure all plant materials onsite are as per agreed specifications.
• Coordinate and store all delivered materials in a safe and secure manner.
• Review all Subcontractors Plant and access equipment is certified and in good working condition.
Ensuring that all matters of compliance and governance are identified and adhered to, including:
• Health & Safety issues on site and ensuring that all Subcontractors are working in a safe manner.
• Review ways of working and where possible implement changes to improve safety.
• Ensuring housekeeping is kept to a high standard by all Sub Contactors.
• Complete weekly ‘don’t walk by’ cards.
Skills, qualification & experience:
• Relevant electrical trade certificate
• Previous experience in a similar role, within a mechanical and electrical contracting environment is essential
• Data Centre experience is advantageous
• Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills
• Proficiency in the use of MS Word & Excel is required
