Electrical Installation Engineer

For one of our key clients in Sweden we are looking for several Electrical Installation Engineers for long term consultancy contracts (Permanent contract after 12 months).

Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU or Sweden.

We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee the construction of medium voltage (MV) and low voltage (LV) networks on site. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of electric installation works in accordance with contractual obligations. Your primary duties will include:

• Ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
• Promoting a safe and conducive working environment on site.
• Facilitating contractor operations without impediments or additional costs.

Experience Level:

Level 3 - Demonstrated proficiency through substantial experience in similar projects. Ability to work independently and provide leadership within a small team.

Additional Experience Description:

• Installation of temporary MV and LV networks for construction purposes.
• Effective communication and problem-solving to resolve technical issues.
• Development and implementation of temporary lighting networks.
• Supervision of both permanent and temporary installations, including cables, transformers, electrical panels, optical cables, and cable bridges.
• Assumption of electrical responsibilities delegation.
• Oversight of design compliance and coordination with contractors.
• Management of work orders and procurement processes.
• Coordination of as-built drawing reports.
• Management of permits for work near Electrical Installations.
• Oversight of Lock Out - Tag Out procedures.
• Verification of invoiced quantities and quality documentation.

Requirements:

We are seeking an agile and experienced engineer with practical expertise in various electrical tasks, including fuse replacement, power consumption measurement, cable configuration, network planning, and contractor management. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in switchgear, as well as installation of 10kV and 33kV transformers. Proficiency in Excel and Word reporting is mandatory. The ideal candidate will bring additional value through their extensive experience and innovative approach.
