AdressPosition overview:
The plant Electrical Supervisor will be a key member of the wider Engineering Team that plays a critical part in supporting the plant's overall business plans and objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leadership and technical supervision of the electric service and maintenance group, including distributing tasks, preparing required materials, circuit diagrams and documents
- Modernisation and renovation of assigned electrical systems, as well as setting and commissioning of installed equipment
- Assisting and training the teams operating the electrical equipment
- Identifying inefficiencies and potential electrical problems and defining corrective actions
- Coordinating, planning, controlling and documenting all electrical activities
- Controlling and programming logic control units for proper equipment operation
- Defining materials, parts and tools required for specific tasks
- Initiating, reviewing, mastering, and following all standard operating procedures (SOPs, JBSs) and working instructions for your area of responsibility
- Applying principals of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001
Experience and skills required:
- Electrical qualifications and/or education
- Experience in a similar role in a high-speed, 24/7 manufacturing or industrial company
- Experienced in programming of logic control units, including specialist software
- Clear communication across all levels and ability to train colleagues as needed
- Working knowledge of the following areas: electrical equipment nomenclature, solid state circuitry, electronics, electrical-mechanical devices, transmission systems, interface units, AC/DC motors, wiring diagrams and schematics, computers and inspection and digital devices
- Fluent in English and Swedish
