Job Description


As a Data Sharing Leader, you will support the organization in leveraging information and data. This you will do in many ways; by supporting our team of BI developers and other teams in removing barriers hindering Data Sharing, by supporting data publishers and users in adopting sharing standards and guardrails and by communicating and building understanding of the data landscape across IKEA of Sweden. You will actively and proactively help product and project teams understand what data they need to fulfil their purpose and help them seamlessly access the right data assets.

You take your colleagues by the hand, and you constructively guide and support them in ensuring access and usage of business-critical data assets. You coordinate and support a team of BI developers. You are regularly involved in activities and meetings with stakeholders to determine large and small opportunities where Data Sharing could help the organization to better reach its goals and work in a more efficient way.

Supporting a complex organization to realize the benefits that Data Sharing can bring is at the heart of the role.

You will:

  • Lead the BI and front-end development practices from Data & Analytics point of view.
  • Guide and facilitate Data Sharing within the wider IKEA organization
  • Lead the development and roll-out of Data Sharing practices across a complex organization.
  • Be a central point of contact and escalation within the IKEA Data Sharing community.
  • Drive continuous improvement, collaboration and knowledge sharing of Data Sharing practices, tools and assets across IKEA of Sweden.
  • Ensure consistency by supporting the use of relevant development techniques, digital frameworks, and best practices.
  • Work closely together with BI developers, data scientists, data engineers, architects, analysts, peers, and other relevant roles across IKEA as well as in your team.
  • Actively and proactively help product and project teams understand what data they need to fulfil their purpose and help them seamlessly access the right data assets.

Beyond that if you are comfortable balancing several stakeholders and agendas simultaneously, then this is the role for you.

Knowledge

  • Hands on experience of BI and front-end development in a data and analytics context. Digital business development experience from complex organizations.
  • Knowledge of data and analytics products and experience of maneuvering the data landscape of large organizations.
  • Bachelor or Master's degree or similar/higher

    qualifications

    in statistics, engineering, mathematics, econometrics, computer science or related.
