We are seeking:
A Corporate Automation Engineer, your role will be to define and implement the strategic development of automation activities within the organization. You will collaborate with various corporate functions and automation groups to ensure alignment with company requirements for capacity, efficiency, and operational excellence.
The position can be based in Lachen (Switzerland), Vienna (Austria), Stockholm (Sweden), Lingolsheim (France) or Springe (Germany).
Your main responsibilities and opportunities
- Collaborate with the other corporate functions and automation organizations, define the strategic development of the automation activities to support company requirements for capacity, efficiency etc.
- Establishment of the Corporate Automation Library and its qualification framework together with the local sites.
- Support the transfer of the standards to the local sites as well as continued participation in further detailed design development.
- Follow up on trends for new approaches, methodologies and technologies in the automation area and assess their potential benefits for the company.
- Strengthen the network between the different automation groups to share expertise and best practices.
- Act towards the whole organization as internal consulting/advisory/expert role within area of expertise.
- Set up and lead the intersite activities to achieve the defined objectives.
The position will be placed within the Corporate Technical Organization with a direct report to Head of cTO.
Your Profile
• Batchelor degree in Automation and +10 years' experience in the field of expertise
• Proven experience in strategic development and standardization of automation activities.
• Strong understanding of automation technologies and best practices.
• Excellent project management and leadership skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies in automation.

The minimum gross wage according to the collective agreement (chemical industry) for your new job is EUR 3.909,67. We strive to adapt your salary to your range of tasks and to your profile, which is why we are ready to pay wages higher than collectively agreed. This is a legal requirement in Austria which is not applicable for other sites.
