Job summary
Join UNICEF's dedicated team in a pivotal role that combines Mental Health expertise and innovative skills.Drive and elevate our current portfolio of Mental Health solutions, focusing primarily on children, adolescent, and youth well-being.Work with stakeholders to identify, validate, and scale innovative solutions in collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities
• Act as global focal point for MHPSS innovations and ensure close engagement with Programme Group, regions, and countries.• Carry out Portfolio Review Process to align the portfolio with corporate goals and work closely with UNICEF Programme Division.• Oversee and manage performance and solution management for the MHPSS Innovation Portfolio.• Provide strategic direction and conceptual design for an innovation hub and global initiatives for MHPSW.• Support resource mobilization and communications for the MHPSS portfolio.• Engage with Country & Regional Offices to adopt and adapt innovations in the MHPSS space.• Establish frameworks to identify MHPSS innovations ready for scale.• Provide strategic support to Office of Innovation around MHPSS Innovation.
Requirements
• Advanced university degree in Mental Health, Public Health, Health Administration, Innovation, or related field.• Minimum of eight years of relevant professional experience in innovation and/or social and economic development.• Proven portfolio innovation experience in MHPSS.• Experience working for a UN agency and preferably in UNICEF Innovation.• Experience in designing and managing Innovation Portfolios, partnerships, and country scale.• Fluency in English required. Knowledge of another UN language or local language is an asset.• Willingness to travel to Auckland, London, and Nigeria for the duration of the consultancy.
