Typical Capabilities
Scope: Typically manages supervisors and directly oversees associates. Firmly adheres to well-defined management precedents. Manages operational initiatives and achieves team goals through mentoring team members.
Problem Solving: Executes assignments based on incremental objectives and defined processes. Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance. Leverages past experience, established processes, or guidelines to identify solutions, or adapts existing approaches to resolve issues. Occasionally works with store manager for escalated issues. Interprets and explains information to audiences who are not familiar with the subject matter. Fosters a team environment.
Leadership: Accountable for meeting short- to medium-term targets that impact the store. Responsible for performance management, pay, training, and hiring decisions for subordinate employees.
Education Requirement
Bachelor’s degree required in the relevant or a related field, or any acceptable combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant or a related field.
