We want to bring our customer insight and analytics to the next level and are looking for an Analytics Manager within Customer & Commercial Strategy to join our team! In this role, we need an analytical person who is able to work well within a variety of systems to retrieve large amounts of data, understand what is the most applicable data to work with, discover what it tells us, and explain it to a variety of stakeholders what it is for.
Experience with different hotel PMS, Tableau, Data Warehouse, and MS Office, to name a few will help get you everything you need in this role. Confidence and an ability to communicate your findings to a varied audience including upper management is a key to success.

What you will be doing:
In this role, you will be responsible for the analytics behind our distribution channels, distribution and commercial strategies, cooperation with business operations, finance, digital units and many others. You will track and define new KPIs, update reports and be involved with a large team supporting our properties to ensure that our customers have the best experience whichever channel they are in and the company also maximizes its profitability.
You will be part of a team in Strawberry who is responsible for understanding who the customers are, why they behave the way that they do, and how we can make things more relevant for them everyday! You will be involved in collecting the relevant data, conducting analytics, and presenting insights and recommendations to help the whole organization find betterways to deliver the best customer experience, conduct experimentations, produce incremental value, and measure and drive the business KPIs.
Who we think you are:
- To be successful in this role we believe you have a minimum of five years of experience in distribution, revenue management, or similar roles.
- You have experience of how to assess different sets of data, assemble it from various source systems, structure and analyze it to active insights to next actions.
- Proven track record of success in communicating large quantities of data, information, and insights to varied audiences both to inform and/or drive changes.
- Experience in analytical platforms such as Big Query, Snowflake, SAS EG, Google Analytics, Tableau or PowerBI. Experience with OTA Insights and Benchmark Alliance is a definite plus.
- Experience and pedagogical mindset of how to help an organization gradually become more data-driven by supporting stakeholders with reports, guidance, presentation of insights and methodology.
- Strong integrity - as responsible for deriving insights and ensuring the organization can learn and increase efficiency continuously, the person needs to be comfortable acting as the devil's advocate; not always say what the organization would like to hear, but what they need to hear.
- Experience from the travel & hotel industry is an advantage but not a prerequisite.
