Right now, we are looking for a SeniorQuality Engineerto take strong ownership of the quality of our cloud-based services. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Azure Infrastructure and platform services, along with expertise in cloud-based automation testing.
The location of this position is in Solna, Sweden in our modern office at Mall of Scandinavia, Stjärntorget 1, within the Product Unit at Division X, the emerging business division at Telia, nurturing innovation and spearheading new business opportunities.
Main Resp--onsibilities
- Develop testing guidelines for DivX Products on MS Azure.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate QA processes into the software development lifecycle.
- Plan and coordinate activities related to requirements analysis and quality assurance.
- Identify areas for automation to improve testing efficiency, accuracy, and reliability.
- Implement automation using tools like Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and Cypress to enhance testing efficiency, accuracy, and reliability.
- Perform hands-on testing, including both manual and automation.
- Design and implement automated tests, ensuring correct configuration of testing environments, including Azure infrastructure and platform services.
- Identify and document defects, collaborating with the development team to ensure resolution.
- Develop and maintain testing documentation (test plans, test cases, reports)
- Stay up to date with Azure infrastructure and platform services and recommend improvements to the testing strategy.
- Take ownership of the testing process, working independently when needed.
- Work with external vendors to ensure third-party component quality.
Your Qualifications and Traits are as follows:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering
- 5+ years of quality assurance/testing experience, specializing in cloud-based platforms with automation expertise.
- Comprehensive understanding of Azure infrastructure and platform services, including components as virtual machines, storage accounts, virtual networks, load balancers, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure SQL Database
- Extensive experience in QA process design, development, and implementation, including executing comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts.
- Strong experience in DevOps practices and agile methodologies
- Skilled in using automated testing tools like Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Cypress, and Postman.
- Familiar with programming languages and scripting, including C#, PowerShell, Java, and Python.
- Excellent self-Leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Passionate about delivering high quality products.
- Results-driven with a proactive approach.

- Fluency in English
