You will work in a global organization of around 60 world-class security specialists. Together we help over 170 companies and 15,000 employees in the Visma Group to tackle their security challenges.
As a Security Incident Coordinator, you are a key person for our incident handling. In this role, it's important to understand the different threats facing today's businesses and how an effective and transparent incident management process can turn a problem into a learning experience.
Your main responsibility is to coordinate and allocate resources when incidents occur. It is important that you quickly understand what has happened, and get an idea of the severity so that we can properly prioritize our efforts. Your tasks will include:
- Coordinating and allocating resources during incidents and recommending actions.
- Working on the aftermath, to ensure that we have found the right root causes and that we take advantage of the lessons learned.
- Internal improvement work, to make our incident handling smarter and more efficient in the future.
- Preventive work to raise awareness of incident and crisis management.
You have a technical background with a genuine interest in information security. We would like you to have practical experience of SOC work, IT forensics, or a leadership role within security or crisis management.
As a person, you have the ability to remain calm under pressure and you are not afraid to improvise and make decisions based on incomplete information. You can act with confidence and explain complex problems in an easy to understand way. You are systematic, thorough and have an eye for details.
You are skilled at adapting your communication to different recipients. You will need to speak the same language as the technicians while also being able to communicate effectively with other non-technical parties. Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is a requirement for the position. Proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
You understand how GDPR and other privacy and security regulations affect our work, and how effective reporting and follow-up of incidents help us to be even better prepared for the future.
