About the Role

We're actively searching for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Purchasing Manager, playing a pivotal role in advancing our purchasing and inventory management processes.
In this role, you will be at the forefront of achieving operational excellence, ensuring the seamless purchasing and inventory management of materials across the Nordics in alignment with our defined supplier agreements. Beyond routine tasks, your role encompasses a strategic focus on total cost and service from a regional perspective.

Your key responsibilities are:
Taking ownership of the purchasing process to establish a foundation for excellence, leading and owning inventory management for purchased materials, managing a dedicated team across our Nordic sites. You will contribute to the development of purchasing strategies supporting Nobia's overarching goals. You own the documentation process for clarity and efficiency and cultivating robust relationships with purchasing stakeholders. You drive ownership of purchasing-related KPIs, and you are collaborating with strategic sourcing to optimize supplier performance and agreement requirements.
Who are you?
To thrive in this role, we envision that you possess a university degree in logistics, complemented by extensive managerial experience in logistics within a production environment or a proven track record in a similar role. Your knowledge should span both operational and system support realms, with a holistic understanding of the complete supply chain and the ability to navigate its complexities. A team-first mindset with leadership experience and proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is crucial.
Additional competences we value include the ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries and levels, identify and implement improvements within purchasing and inventory management, analytical thinking from a holistic perspective, stakeholder management using influential techniques, financial acumen, proficiency in process mapping, and SAP experience is considered advantageous.
The role is preferably based in Jönköping, with occasional travel a couple of times per year. It's also possible to work from one of the other Nordic countries.
