Production & Inventory Control Planner

For our Production Planning department, we are now looking for a Production and Inventory Control Planner to join our team. In this rôle you will develop and apply new tools and processes in order to, through efficient planning, create conditions for increased productivity within our production groups. 

You will plan, monitor and adjust work capacity for production lines to align with material and information availability to ensure our customers have the best possible experience. You will work in a team enviroment where problem solving and re-arranging the production plan is a daily task.

You’ll be working closely with various departments such as engineering, project management, order office and production. The role reports to Manager Production Planning & Product Configuration. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Final Verification on orders before they go to production. You will also be responsible for communicating eventual issues to the concerned function
• Both short and long term planning of production orders
• Act as communication point between production and purchasing/orders/projects
• Initiate follow ups for orders that require expediting
• Create MO/TO when phasing in/out  of product changes

You have substantial knowledge of production processes, product knowledge and an understanding of continuous flows. You enjoy working and collaborating with others both within your own department as well as other departments. You are goal- and quality conscious and you have a structured way of working. 

You have 2+ years of experience of similar work and hold a high school diploma, BSc or MSc in the field of technology is meritorious. You are well versed in Excel and are used to working in different business systems, especially Bill Of Materials. 

To succeed in this role, you are fluent in both Swedish and English
