As a Digital Sales Specialist you will focus on a defined geography within the Nordics, with the objective of meeting or exceeding set sales targets, through growing existing accounts and creating additional business or finding new accounts. You will utilize call planning, pipeline management, lead creation and qualification, proactive sales calling and performance monitoring to drive the business and achieve the set sales targets. You will also be required to collaborate very closely with your corresponding Milli-Q Field Sales Specialist and the Milli-Q Inhouse Technical Team as well as with colleagues from other business units and functions such as Field Service, Field Marketing, Account Managers and Field Sales Specialists from other divisions of Life Science, to leverage the greater organization and open further business opportunities for both them and you.You will understand your customers' businesses, their needs & goals and use this information to identify potential new business opportunities and develop the existing business. You will develop strong relationships with appropriate key decision makers within organizations to build your reputation and credibility and open new business opportunities for the future. You will research and gain a deep understanding of the market, industry developments and competitor activities on your territory. You will be conducting sales calls using agreed methodologies by telephone/other virtual platforms but also face-to-face meetings. You will generate and qualify leads (from internal and external sources); in some instances (for Service and Consumables business) you will actively convert these into live opportunities and generate quotations/proposals as necessary. It will also be your role to engage in technical discussions and pricing negotiations to successfully close the businesses. Leads generated for hardware, will be generally passed on to the relevant Field Sales Specialist for them to work on. You will also manage and report on your opportunity pipeline to provide business forecasts against set quarterly and annual performance targets. Who you are: You ideally have a scientific degree.Proficient in English and Swedish, Norwegian, or Danish. Knowledge of Finnish is an additional plus.Experience of working in a laboratory would be an advantage.Having some sales experience preferably within a similar industry is an advantage. This could include internal sales experience or any other commercial experience, otherwise affinity to learn.Able to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.Strong self-motivation, able to prioritize and have strong organizational and time management skills.Have strong Interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills.Ability to produce and interpret sales data in various formats.
